Every teacher knows the child who scores well but hasn't understood.
ChapterLens has students explain each concept in their own words, and our AI checks the reasoning — then traces a struggle in, say, Class 8 algebra back to the Class 6 gap that caused it. Families use it today. Now we want to build the teacher side of it — with teachers, not for them.
Book a 15-minute conversationNo cost, no commitment, nothing to purchase at any stage.
What students use today
Mastery evidence, one concept at a time
Learn, then explain
Short animated lessons per concept, followed by the student explaining the idea in their own words. Our AI scores the reasoning — accuracy, completeness, and use of the right terms — not just the final answer.
Find the real gap
When a student struggles, a short diagnostic traces the failure back through prerequisite concepts — often to an earlier grade — and routes them to the actual root of the problem.
Practice like the exam
Mixed, weighted tests modelled on real CBSE papers — including assertion–reason and case-study questions — with marks-style scoring, plus exam-date study plans.
The invitation
A no-cost pilot with a single section
Before we build the teacher-facing part of the product, we would rather understand what teachers actually need than guess at it. The pilot is deliberately small:
- 1
A 15-minute conversation
With you, or a Grade 6–8 teacher you think is the right person. We listen; there is no pitch deck.
- 2
One section, one teacher, about an hour in total
If it seems relevant afterwards, we run the pilot with a single section. The teacher's total time commitment is roughly one hour across the whole pilot.
- 3
Nothing to purchase at any stage
The pilot is free for the school, the teacher, and the families involved. What we ask for is honest feedback on what a teacher-facing view should show.
What the pilot includes
What a pilot teacher gets
Built and audited for one Bangalore school's Grade 7 Maths book so far: 90+ video lessons, ~3,000 practice questions with worked solutions, and 72 ready-made homework sheets — one for every topic in the book.
Tonight's homework in one tap
Open the chapter you're teaching, see the topics in your book's own order, and assign the matching sheet — 5 warm-ups, 4 practice, 1 challenge. Every sheet also prints, with name and roll-number fields and a full worked answer key, for students without a device.
Every student gets different numbers
Each sheet exists in 40 versions — same topics, same difficulty, same marks, different numbers. Copying stops working, and the same worksheet is safe to re-issue for revision or reuse next year.
Homework marks itself
Every question knows its answer in every sensible form — 45/8, 5⅝ and 5.625 all count. A chapter's marking load drops from several evenings to zero.
“What did my class actually get wrong?”
Every wrong answer is tagged with the specific mistake behind it. Monday's homework report doesn't say “Question 7 was hard” — it says “24 of 31 students never flipped the second fraction”. That's a sentence you can teach from on Tuesday morning, and each mistake links to the 3-minute lesson that fixes it.
Catch last year's gap before the chapter starts
The content knows which topics are this grade's and which are earlier-grade revision the textbook assumes. A short prerequisite check shows who is going to struggle before the chapter begins, not after the test.
Your textbook, your order
Topics follow your school's own book — its sequence and its wording — including revision chapters and material taught ahead of the standard syllabus. We map to your book, not the other way around.
And an honest coverage audit
Before the pilot starts, we hand your head of department a chapter-by-chapter mapping of what we cover — and where we fall short, down to the terms your book uses that our lessons don't yet say aloud. We'd rather show you the gaps than claim there aren't any.
To be equally honest about what's not built: the teacher screens for assigning work, collecting it and reading class reports are exactly what pilot teachers help us design. The content above is ready and waiting for them.
